Homeland Security needs to check 100% of Muslims and stop harassing everyone else! If we want real security we need to stop all this politically correct BS and take a look at the possible enemies!

most of us (MUSLIMS) are already given the random extra security checks at the airports for domestic or international flights.....but some how they seem to miss the real terrorist.....strange

Maybe we should save our outrage for the people who blew up/try to blow up planes and made the powers that be decide it was necessary to instigate body scanners in the first place. I agree, if you don't like how air travel is run, don't use it. I don't like how McDonald's processes their food, so I don't eat it. If you feel that strongly about body scanners, vote with you wallet.

How many times has this happened?

Not that simple. Airlines don't have a choice. You can't vote with your wallet because these our government agents at airports checking you. FAA regulations, not airline rules. There's a big difference.

You have no right to board an aircraft. If you choose to board that little metal tube with a bunch of fellow human beings, be prepared to prove you're safe. If you ain't willing to do that, stay out of my metal tube. Drive. Or swim.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

See: Commuter Trains

I'd be more worried there. Especially when it comes to things more dangerous such as disease!

Alright, I concede: "vote with your wallet" isn't the most applicable term in this case. Even so, one needn't fly if one is SO OUTRAGED by body scanners. It just seems like something really innocuous to get so worked up about, in my opinion. I'd rather save my outrage for those that actually deserve it.

See: "Outbreak" with Dustin Hoffman. Clearly, the monkey smugglers are who we should be focusing our efforts on.

The last time I checked you don't have to have a background check to rent a Ryder truck still.

The only reasons why full body scanners are implemented is because it makes government look like they are 'doing something' and give them an excuse to implement another form of control they have wanted to implement for years, yet haven't an excuse until now.

More and more intrusion into people's lives and they just let it happen a little bit at a time.

It will be the same way once they start trying to convince people to get the little microchip implants (which is happening in some areas on a voluntary basis right now).

There's always going to be bad people and you're not going to stop them.

How do you solve the new bomb breast implants that will not be detectable by the body scanners? Are you going to allow your wife to be felt up? Are you as a woman going to let yourself be felt up? Or how about a rod stuck in your crotch to check you out?

Where do the intrusions stop.

You do realize that not all terrorists are Muslim, right? Please make an effort to consider your stereotyping before posting. This is a multi-cultural board. Thank you.

Swim? What happened to all the boats? Getting a boat across the Atlantic used to be the way to travel, times change...

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
