Hello,

this is my very first post here. I have found this website can give me almost all answers for my immigration process but now i have something to ask.

I got my biometrics appointment for 26th March in Oakland, CA. How much time i need for that appointment? It is going to be busier day for me and i would like to estimate how it will go.

Thank you for your help!

You may be able to go to the office earlier as a walk in. And depending on the actual volume of customers you could be in and out in a matter of 15-20 minutes, if all goes well.

As stated, you can try to do a walk-in ahead of your scheduled appointment, but, they also might not let you in, depends on the person letting you in.

We did an early walk-in(of coarse this wasn't done in CA), and it took us 2+/hrs to get seen, as we had to wait for the people who were scheduled that day to be done first and we were squeezed in when an opening appeared.

If you go in on your scheduled day/time, you should be in and out pretty fast, as I watched people show their appointment letter for that day get done in about 30/mins(some less than that), and it was pretty busy that day.

Good luck!

Thank you! I think i go there about half hour earlier and try my best to get it done fast. It is great if it is done in 30 minutes. Thank you for your help!
