Hello all,

I was just looking over the g-325a and had a couple of quick, and hopefully simple, questions. I'm a US citizen shes a UK citizen.

1) I have only recently obtained a full time job (the economy has been rough for me this past year or so) I have large periods of unemployment and within that time a few temp jobs (the shortest being about a week the longest being a couple of months). How detailed do I need to be? I mean should I just leave out the odd jobs or include everything? Do I need exact dates? And what do I put for where I was unemployed?

2) My soon to be wife was previously married. After she divorced she never changed her name back (it would be a pain to get a new passport and all that). Would her maiden name be her current name or would it be the name she was born with?

Thank you in advance!

I'm guessing on question 2 it would be her original last name. Still quite confused about question 1 so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to fill it in a best as you can remember without leaving any gaps in the dates (you only need the month and year.) For the periods you were unemployed just put "unemployed" and the dates. This is how I filled mine in and had no issues.

2) My soon to be wife was previously married. After she divorced she never changed her name back (it would be a pain to get a new passport and all that). Would her maiden name be her current name or would it be the name she was born with?

Her maiden name is the one she was born with. I filled the "All Other Names Used (include names by previous marriages)" box on the G325 as requested; I put in my maiden name and the name I used from my first marriage. Under "Family Name" I put my current family name which is my name from my current marriage.

Thank you in advance!

Good luck.

So I should probably include the short temporary positions as well I'm guessing. I just hope I can remember all the dates and years!

Just do the best you can. I wouldn't think that neglecting to list a temporary job of a week's duration would derail the process. Good luck.
