should i get an "INFOPASS"?

check previous posts for our weird history. filed for k-1 may 14, '09. we have an attorney firm helping. signed up for case status updates thru uscis site. case checked often, still in "initial review" for background checks. last contact from them was on december 19! had senators and congressmans offices call to see whats the delay. no progress. going to see my fiance on saturday march 20, for the 4th time in the last 16 months.

should i try to get an INFOPASS appointment at our states uscis office? (150 mile drive away) would that give me anymore details as to why on earth this is taking so long? or should we just wait and wait and wait?

when we had almost reached the two year mark i did info pass it was as useless as calling the service center

If your congressman/senator couldn't help, what about contacting the ombudsman's office?
