Ptitioning for my brother

I just became a USC (I don't have my timeline, but I filed in August 2009 and was sworn in Philadelphia last week - March 2009). I am filing for my brother and I can't find the information about the affidavit of support.

If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate. Here are my questions: I'm a student. I have money saved and my husband has a good salary, should we both sign to sponsor my brother? My brother probably has more money than me, should he send his bank statements as well?

Also, when do I file the I-134, since the I-130 doesn't mention it?

Thanks

Depending on the country where your brother is from, you have between 10-23 years of wait time before the visa number becomes available. Approximately a year before then the NVC will contact you to submit the Affidavit of Support - I-864 and to pay anything else - AOS processing, immigrant visa.

You have a long way to go - for now, concentrate or filing I-130.

The average time it takes for a sibling to recieve a visa is 12 to 23 years , depending on your country. So right now finance is not a concern, you first needs to file for him. Good luck.
