Still learning my way around the 'new' VJ!

I have to work all day and it is not going to be a pleasant day. Bosses are gonna be complaining, co-workers tired and whiny. I am going in and putting my mp3 in my ear and ignoring them all.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Wow this new site kinda scared me this morning thought I had maybe drifted off to some virus site or something idk. Looks good though, but will take me time to get used to.

This Monday and the next two weeks for me will be full of studying. Soon I will be picking up the hubby from work and getting back to studying. What a day for me.

Good morning everyone! I am soooo happy today because it is spring break and I don't have to go to work. Last Thursday was my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary so we had family in town. Things are calm today and I was able to sleep in so now I feel rested and ready to enjoy this beautiful weather we are having. This week I'm working on the AOS package so I can send that in and making sure Omar has all the information and the list of items for the IV package. It's getting a little exciting around here! Only one more quarter of school and then I get to see my husband and we should be having our interview, too!!!!

I like the new VJ - the site needed a face lift ...its going to definitely take some time getting used to it & navigating some areas ... its also a bit slower than I would like but I'm sure that will improve shortly :yes:

Goodmorning everyone. Im with ya all on this new so called improved version of VJ. My husband got his HS diploma orginal finally and ordered his passport yesterday and will have it in 3 more days. I'll be glad when this part is over.

About uncoverboss yes Jeanne im watching it. I like it. I saw a few extra behind the scences footage on Oprah a month or so ago. Its neet to see them go in when they have such a big corp. if they care to actully want to help. I work for a big Company but we are small in our area and locally owned and my bosses rock. Afterall they are giving my husband a job when he arrives and all the same benifits im getting. That will help us a lot. If he finds something he would rather do down the road he can keep his options open.

Heres another completely funny show, The Marriage Ref, got to love that one too. Jerry Seinfild is the director. Its on NBC on Thursday. I have to DVR anything I want to see at night since I work till 915pm. Have a great Monday everyone and Jackie keep the music playing.

Evening MENA- Long time no see! I have been SO busy with Ghassan here and all. We are slowly adjusting to life.. Kids are doing okay. Have to share some adjustment/translation funnies one day.
