In our I-130 packet we are including the following evidence of an ongoing relationship:

-Our very first rent contract with both our names and our most recent at the same address (this is our only financial tie to each other) plus a copy

-A greeting card from my mom to hubby dated December 2008 congratulating us on our engagement

-Ticket stubs to Los Angeles from Christmas 2008 when hubby and I went to visit my hometown plus copies

-A picture of him with my parents on Christmas Day with a Chrismas tree and several unwrapped and wrapped Christmas presents around

-A picture of us at Universal Studios on that visit

-A picture of us in San Francisco with the skyline on that visit

-Ticket stubs to London from Christmas 2009 when hubby and I went to visit his parents

-A picture of us in front of the Tower Bridge

Is this sufficient evidence? Anything pointless that we shouldn't include? Anything else we should?

Ok, actually, we've cut the picture of us in SF since it wasn't a good one and added a picture of me and my mother-in-law at their house in England pulling a Christmas cracker in front of the Christmas tree.

I'm sure it is more than enough. I didn't provide a single photo, document or piece of paper that showed an ongoing relationship with the petition and was told that our package was extremely organised and thorough. So, it's great you are super organised with the photos and I'm sure that's heaps (even though most Embassies don't even ask for it!). Sydney Embassy just asks for the supporting relationship documents if they are suspicious.

Best of luck.

Yeah, I agree with above. I had MASSIVE amounts of information and the officer didn't want it. I tried to give it to him because we had our I-130 interview or whatever in São Paulo and after that everything is sent away to Rio. On the Rio website it specifically says they need proof of on going relationship, but when I tried to give it to the Consular he said he didn't want it! I told him the website said I needed to submit it and he said, that they only want to see it if they are in doubt as to the validity of your relationship. And, since he could clearly see we were in a relationship, he didn't want it. But he did say to keep it all and bring it with us to the final interview just in case the officer there wants to see it.

I guess Rio trusted the Consulars opinion in São Paulo though because we were approved and they never saw any personal documents, only official ones like birth and marriage certificates.

Anyway, I think what you have should be fine, but I always say: more is better than not enough. I'd bring anything you can to the final interview, just in case...and if they don't want to see it, good for you!
