I-864 how to cound USC children

Hi, I was wondering the following:

I am a USC, petitioning for my husband. We have two children, who are dual citizens (USC and German).

I do not have the funds to sponsor my husband alone so my father will be a joint-sponsor.

It is clear that I count 4 people on my I-864 (myself, my husband, and our two children), but what does my father put?

My children are technically not immigrating to the US, since they are already citizens, but they are dependent on my husband. So if my husband is sponsored by my father, does my father automatically sponsor me and the kids?

So would my father then end up having a household size of 5: himself, his wife, and us 4? or just three? himself, his wife, and my husband?

Docs,

Only an immigrant needs to be sponsored.

You don't give us any information about your father's household other than that he has a wife, so it's hard to know what his household size is. Must be at least 3, though, by I-864 calculation.
