Hi, well as you know we have had our fair share of delays in the K-1 process but it seems it does not stop there, we received our Noa-1 for AOS and EAD on the 15th May and as yet ** all since, please inform me of my next move,I believe the best option is to have an infopass app to enable me to get a temp EAD,

Is this the wise and appropriate next step.

Regards Scotty

I would go with the Infopass to find out what's going on. Have you not even received your biometrics appointment yet? Seems definitely worth checking up if you ask me. Who knows if you'll get any joy though.

Jeez Scotty -- Isn't it time someone cut you some slack????? Unbelievable!!!

I don't think you can do anything until 90 days after your NOA1 date for the EAD.....if I counted right that would be August 13 (Sunday). If you don't get anything before then.....make an Infopass appointment and they should give you the "temp EAD" right on the spot.

Do they give you an interim EAD if you haven't had biometrics? I thought I read somewhere that they wouldn't. Could be wrong tho'.

Well -- the "rule" is 90 days. I don't think that it would matter if they had their Biometrics yet or not. Could be wrong but they could end up waiting forever for the Biometrics letter. I say make the Infopass appointment and hope the Biometrics comes in the meantime.

I also think it depends on what office you go to......they all seem to have their own rules

Well.....I don't think I have read anywhere (but I could be wrong) that you have to wait. I have only read about getting the temp EAD 90 days after you get the NOA1. I would think, technically, what good would the "90 day rule" be if you had to wait six months for the Biometrics?

Maybe......we had to make an Infopass appointment because my husband's EAD card said he was a female. We got a temp card immediately there at the office -- and received the 'REAL' revised EAD in the mail a few weeks later. Possibly they will give you the 'temp' card (which was good for 90 days) and you will still have to wait for the Biometrics for the 'REAL' card.....
