Hello VJ'rs!

I'm not quite sure where to post this thread but anyway i have some questions regarding my flight.

My fiance can't make it here in the PI cos of some job related issues, so anyway, I'm flying in this 17th of march.

I got three connecting flights. So my question is, do I have to take my luggage every time?

My fiance bought the ticket using mileage card so i don't know if I'm entitled to take 2 pieces of 23kls each bags for free.

Please please help me. I'm confuse and this is the first time I'm flying in a long haul flight.

As far as weight allowance and number of suitcases allowed, contact the airline that you're flying with.

As for checked in luggage, usually the airline will check your luggage to the point where your immigration will be. So for example, when I fly from Brasil, let's say a smaller town into São Paulo, then to Miami, then home to San Juan (Puerto Rico), I check my luggage in my depature town and only need to pick it up in Miami, which is where I'll do my customs/immigration in the US, then I check it in again for San Juan (in São Paulo the airline will move my luggage from one plane to the other for me). So if your first flight is already your POE, you get your bags there, and then check them in for the rest of the trip.

your luggage will be checked all the way to your destination, BUT like stated above, you WILL have to claim it the first stop in the US....where ever that may be....seattle, los angeles, hawaii, ect....we dont know your route or where you're going. As far as luggage limit...contact the airline. Most of them are 2 bags...but you need to check with them.

My flight would be Manila to Nagoya,.. Nagoya to Narita,... Narita to Seattle which is my POE...

I'm flying with Delta air. My fiance is going to call them today about the luggage.

With this kind of connecting flights, Am i suppose to pick the luggage up at the POE?

I would think you would pick up your luggage in Seattle so that you get entry in the States through customs. Here is the link to the POE reviews: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/poereviews.php?poe=Seattle&dfilter=0

You may have to do something in Narita...not sure. Be prepared for whatever.
