Recent CSC AOS activity

My case was transferred to CSC to speed up processing times and I've noticed that there seems to be a chunk of applicants around the same transfer date that haven't been touched while some febs and other people get a card or at least a decision within a month. My concern is that my grandmother is very ill at the moment and I really would like to see her before she leaves us for the next life (which the doctors are predicting late next month). My case was transferred on the 1/20/2010 and hasn't been touched since 1/28/2010. Has the website been updating itself lately or are people getting decisions and updates via mail only? Also I applied for AP about 3 weeks ago so I could visit her just in case I didn't get my GC in time and haven't heard a single word back from them yet. Is that just cause they are behind? or is it something to do with my AOS application?

I hope its the latter and my GC and welcome pack is in the post.

Any help or info regarding CSC AOS activity would be greatly apprieciated

I think this would be a good time to make an Infopass appt for an emergency AP request. I've heard of this being done. If you sent the AP in via the mail 3 weeks ago, you could be waiting. My husband's took 2 months to be approved, and it was approved in the NBC, not the CSC where our AOS had been transferred to.

er...just to make you feel a bit better, none of the feb filers has gotten their cards, none of us have gotten our AP's or EAD's either. The closest we have is a few scheduled interviews.

If your grandmother is ill you can get info from the dr. and then go make an infopass to try to get it expedited based on that.
