I agree with posts #100, 101, & 102, si (please) man... and #103, si man.

Oh, also: Perhaps I didn't notice upon original log-on, no man, but there seemed to be no "your last visit was XX:YY" (time). This is a crucial piece of knowledge so that those of us with, uh, senior memories can know when to "quit" eyeballing a forum because we've seen it before, si(nile) man.

As soon as it is convenient, I would like my entire PMs (beyond 6 mo.) restored, please, si man. I then promise to purge several of them myself, si man.

I will try. Tomorrow I will only have a partial rebuild. It will take several more days. Worst case I can do a database dump for all your PM's and email you. Either way you will get them :).

haha, agreed!

So get back to work, and quit goofing off on company time, and no worries. You know that the boss can track your every move on the internet anyways, so look out.

Search is enabled again! I will resume rebuilding posts and PMs tomorrow night. For now everything is online (you will notice missing PMs but they will populate once converted).

I'm struggling to get used to the change. Still, having had experience with forum upgrades myself, I know these things don't always go without the occasional hitch. So I'm willing to be patient and let things get straightened out before I worry too much.

So far I've noticed some issues with topics that I'm subscribed to: Instead of getting one email to notify me of a new reply, now I get an email per new reply. Last night, I got an inbox full of such notices (which wasn't so good) although this morning, there was only one. So maybe it's been fixed.

Another thing that's been happening is that whenever I click on the topic link in topic subscription emails, it's crashing my browser (I am using Firefox). That might be my computer though, since it's been acting up this morning.

And another thing I am noticing is that the links at the top of the page look really jumbled up on my computer - admittedly, I am using a 800x600 resolution. Some of the text is overlapping, and the lighter font colors are extremely difficult to read and don't stand out much at all.

Otherwise though, there are some nice looking improvements. I have not had chance to look too closely at the changes so far, but I hope to get chance to do so soon. And hopefully I'll get used to the new VJ soon, too.

YES! And VIEW NEW CONTENT doesn't work when one is in OFF TOPIC. Actually, it doesn't even exist.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like I'm being blinded. Everything is just so WHITE!

I find it all very hard on the eyes.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

Ewok , my screen resolution is at 1024 x768px and I can't change it to a higher resolution because the fonts are too small for me to read. This is regarding the lettering in the headers at the top of the page. They are still blurry.

I will have to think on the low resolution issue. There are only a small number of users impacted by this but I will see what I can do :).

what page? Not seeing anything but then again I did restart apache (server software) and mysql (database) a few minutes ago. Probably sent out a few glitches to people (normal).

I'm right there with you.

I woke up to 78 new email messages from VisaJourney this morning. I was scared.

In the email notification itself, it states:

If you have configured in your control panel to receive immediate topic reply notifications, you may receive an

email for each reply made to this topic. Otherwise, only 1 email is sent per board visit for each subscribed topic.

This is to limit the amount of mail that is sent to your inbox.

So which is the setting that allows us one per topic per visit, instead of flooding our inbox? Otherwise I'll have to be careful which topics I start replying in... Some of those threads get rather busy, heh.

On the Recent Posts page. Been happening on and off for about 2 hours. It says "stack overflow".
