With a widescreen resolution, the main text body appears far too wide. Visually, it doesn't feel formatted correctly.

I agree - the width seems forced to fit and feels awkward. For example, the Recent Posts page fills the screen but the center is mostly blank (see image). Screen resolution is 1680 by 1050 most of the time (IE 8.x).

I agree that some of the "old" sections stretched when the new forums was added. I will be fixing those areas .

I think it's cool. But I lost my messages. I received a notification on my email that i Have a new personal message here on VJ but it wasn't here..as in 0 messages. Even the old ones are gone.

I certainly agree with this as well.. The new layout is change, just like when Facebook pushes out a huge update.. It will take a little while for people to get used to the new layout, but then a few weeks from now everyone will be back to their usual posting, commiserating, etc... Change is inevitable, change is good!

The way it displays image attachments is wonky, might want to check into that.

Overall I'm happy with it. I think it looks slick.

I like to use the arrows to go quickly to the top/bottom of a page, instead of scrolling. I hope they'll be back.

Anyone else having difficulties reading the standard font? It's readable but you really need to pay attention to it..

As a note, I am converting PMs from the last 6 months only for now. I could do "all" of them but that would take days. I can always bring back an old PM for you if it was beyond the time frame. I had to draw a line though as so many members that have not been here in ages have PMs just sitting there for no real reason taking up space. This helps clear up stuff (all the old one archived though).

When you click in to the fast reply space, there is not an exit button if you choose not to post. You have to use the back button on your tool bar. This is a design suggestion. There should be a Post or cancel button. JMOP.

Ok, I see cancel is under the Use FulL Editor button of Fast Reply.

1a is what I see when I am browsing.

1b is what I see when I click reply. It seems that the text becomes bigger and more legible. Yet once I add a post , it reverts back to the smaller text.

Maybe it's just my monitor settings..

As a note, after 12 hours we have about 600k posts converted. Given that there are about 7x more posts to still convert then it may take a few days. This basically means the site may be a little sluggy on Mon/Tues. I want to get the PMs back online by Monday though. Hopefully everyone is ok with the last 6 months being converted (and with my as their archival resource if they need something older back).
