Interests are still showing and it is a waste of space, IMO. If people are curious, they can click on a members profile.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I love that we can see how many posts people have mad. Not only gold, platinum etc member.

I was going to say something about the "quotes" but I see it's already fixed. Thanks!

Also, the "TOP" button. It was much easier to use it, than having to scroll all the way up.

So far the thing that's bothering me a little bit is that it all seems rather washed out and too white. I too thought something was wrong with my computer. But I think I can get used to it fast, it's mostly a matter of adapting to change than not liking the new format. I like how it shows # of posts made, how the top bars seem clearer and more visible to those searching for info, and I do like the avatar corner, except for the interests showing.

I miss the happy couples, too, though I think we're long overdue for an updated set drawn from active members. As for it being a giveaway that the site isn't work-related, I think the avatars, profile pics and posted images and videos are a much bigger giveaway. Aren't most web forums not work-related?

I agree. Seems a little tmi for the front page.

I never actually used the "TOP" button...that's what the "Home" key on your keyboard is for ;)

Hopefully the interest space is cleared up. It is in the posts/topics anyhow. If the profiles is too long let me know and I can correct that.

As a note, things on the server will be slow as we are currently rebuilding "posts" and "messages". These take some time and until the message rebuild is done the PM system will not be online. Sorry!

I would quote your post.. but then I don't think you would be able to tell when your post ends and my response starts :)

I think there was a message saying PM system was off line today.. so maybe that is why you can't access your messages?

Yes, the new format will take some getting used to, but it does seem to be easier to search and I do like some of the new things.

Aside from not being able to tell when a quote ends and a new post starts I do have another item that would be nice if it could be changed. The font color of people's signatures is too light to read. Is it possible to make the font color darker? Maybe it is just me and old age setting in.. eyes starting to go :).. but it's so light I have to strain to read my own signature.

What is the "post snapback" link supposed to do? I have clicked on it a few times and nothing happens.

I LIKE IT A LOT more organized and pretttty

The "new VJ" is more organized and classy looking except that I can't seem to find my "page", it's all gone? I can't edit my timeline either....and...I'm not allowed to open/use my personal message?
