questions:

I am a BSN graduate at PI.but i am not an RN there, now i am here at USA with 2yrs GC..

what states that allowed to take an NCLEX examination without a license in our country PHILIPPINES..

Interesting question. Most Filipino's that come here as nurses were all ready licensed. I am not sure exactly how it would be different for you. I would talk to NCLEX. You have to pass whatever states requirements there are to be able to sit and take the test but with a current green card and school transcripts I dont think you will have trouble anywhere. Most states are going away from accepting CGFNS results. The other part though is that NCLEX requires that you went through an accredited training program. Now whether they accept whatever school you went through in the Philippines or not is ok with them is something I cant guess especially given the number of Philippino nursing schools that have horrid passing rates on national testing.

If you were all ready an RN in Philippines it wold be much easier. Talk to NCLEX though, nobody else can really give you an accurate answer.

my thoughts to you is contact the board of nursing in the state that you are living in..They should be able to tell you what you have to do..you should be able to go to their website for contact information..best of luck

Atencio - thank u for the reply.. I take the exam at PI but sad to say i did not pass.. i haven't chance to take an exam again

coz i am pregnant and i have already a visa.. it takes only 4 months to get my visa, coz my hubby expedite our papers coz i am pregnant..

I already ask what states that doesn't need a RN license at pinas and she told me she didn't know..

Good luck on the NCLEX. it changes April 1st of this year. It changes every 3-5 yrs. https://www.ncsbn.org/1287.htm

As well hope the employment situation for RN's is better where you are. Lot of unemployed new grads and experienced Rn's in the DC area. I'm on a tele unit and were always full, but short staffed, and they wont hire anyone!! very frustrating
