Do i really need a Joint sponsor?

Hey guys,

I;m back with yet another question. My dad is filing her affadavit of support for his wife now and we wanted to know if it is really necessary for us to use a joint sponsor? Here's the thing :

My dad has about 250K in liquid money and about 250K in annunities, then he has our house which has about 100k still left to pay, and then his annual taxes are about 50,000 annually. I am also going to be his household sponsor.

So is a joint sponsor necessary? Please help

A joint sponsor is used when the primary sponsor (spouse in this case) doesn't qualify on their own. If I understand you correctly, your father is sponsoring his wife's immigration. He appears to qualify on his own, so no joint sponsor is needed.
