how to check the status to the NVC to know if the embassy already recieved the packet?

How do you know when you can have the schedule for interview?

once the american embassy receive your file from the nvc the consular will review the whole paper work and send you a package to complete once you complete this package and send it back to embassy they will review it again in case if there any thing missing then will send you a letter to inform you by your appointment good luck

you can call to the NVC 1-603-334-0700 in about a week after you sent the DS-230 and veryfy the status with the automatic system or with an operator...

F1 Category USCIS

01-25-2006 Case Approved.

NVC

03-10-2010 Case completed

06-26-2010 Interview Date Assigned

Embassy :

07-29-2010 : Medical Exam

08-10-2010 : Interview Date @ 6: 15 AM. Approved

10-07-2010 : Visa Received

USA:

10/30/2010 : POE @ EWR

11/10/2010 Recieved auto SSN, 11 days after POE

12/07/2010 Welcome letter received

12/11/2010 Green Card on hand.

Naturalization:

03/26/2016 N-400 Filing Date (Sent package to Dallas, TX via USPS Priority Mail)

03/29/2016 N-400 package delivered

04/01/2016 Payment Charged to Credit Card.

04/04/2016 NOA Received via E-mail and Tex

t04/08/2016 NOA Received via USPS First Class mail (04/02/2016).

04/25/2016 Fingerprints. (Letter received on 04/15/16)

04/29/2016 In Line.

06/20/2016 Interview Letter

07/25/2016 Interview

08/01/2016 Oath Ceremony

DHL can help you to track your case....

1...when you know that your case have been forwarded to the embassy, example; case forwarded March 12, 2010.

2...go to DHL TRACK

3...then under track list click on track reference.

4...type in the reference in this shape EXP11MAR2010A then push track. You can always try the March10th if the first one wont work.

NVC will send you an email indicating the schedule of your interview. In our case, I received the appointment letter before NVC forwarded our case to the embassy.

DHL can help you to track your case....

When were your packages delivered to NVC? Wait 8-10 days for a case complete, barring any RFEs. If there is a RFE, NVC will notify you via email.

03/27/2009: Engaged in Ithaca, New York.
08/17/2009: Wedding in Calcutta, India.
09/29/2009: I-130 NOA1
01/25/2010: I-130 NOA2
03/23/2010: Case completed.
05/12/2010: CR-1 interview at Mumbai, India.
05/20/2010: US Entry, Chicago.

We sent that march 11.. I have to wait 8 -10 days..thank you so much.. Hopefully this journey will be done as soon as possible..

No, I did not. Yes, you'll get a checklist (email) from NVC requesting for the missing documents.
