Hi Guys,

I've few questions regarding filling out our forms.

Q1: the I-94 no. on the I-94 paper there is number separated with slashes(they are 3 numbers then a dash then 5 numbers) and then there is a 20 written alone beside the number out of the slashes.. is that 20 part of the number or no???!!

Q2: regarding the USCIS office we will apply ofr adjustment of satus..we are Green Bay, WI. which one will you apply for?

Q3: the nonimmigrant visa number? is it what they call on the visa the control number? if yes? in that number there is zeros and salshed zeros I don't know how to type this???!!

Appreciate your help guys.

Adjusting from J1 visa:

03/29/2010: got married.

04/10/2010: sent AOS package( I-130, I-485 & ...)

04/12/2010: Package received at Chicago lockbox.(Day1)

04/16/2010: check cashed.(Day4)

04/16/2010: all forms touched(Day4)

04/20/2010: 3 NOAs received.(Day8)

04/28/2010: Received 2 letters for Biometrics Appointment to be on 5/21/2010 !!! Too far away.

05/03/2010: I-130 updated.

05/06/2010: walked in and did my biometrics.(Day24)

05/07/2010: I-485, I-765 updated.

05/21/2010: original biometrics appointment.

05/24/2010: received interview letter.(Day42)

06/08/2010: I-485 was touched.

06/21/2010: EAD card production.(Day69)

06/23/2010: I-130 & I-485 are touched.

06/25/2010: EAD card production ordered AGAIAN!!!!

06/30/2010: Interview day(Day78)APPROOOOVED(Alhamdulellah):)

06/30/2010: Approval notice sent for EAD card :)

06/30/2010: GC production ordered. yaaaay :)

07/02/2010: received my EAD card Alhamdulellah again and again :)

07/07/2010: Welcome letter ; approval of my I-485

07/08/2010: Letter stating approval of the I-130

07/17/2010: I received my GREEN CARD.

1. The 20 should be part of the number. Its 11 digits total.

2. Still preparing documents, but if you are filing I-130 and I-485 it should be a Chicago Lockbox - see the address in the instructions for these two forms.

3. The number is the red one in the middle right part of the visa, not the one starting with the year of issuing under Control number.

10/07/2007 Entered the US on J-1 visa

11/03/2008 Changed status to F-1

02/14/2010 Married

03/15/2010 Filed AOS (from F-1)

05/27/2010 AOS approved, GC Issued

02/28/2012 Mailed I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

03/01/2012 I-751 received by CSC/NOA Issued

03/15/2012 Biometrics letter sent

04/12/2012 Biometrics appointment per letter

05/27/2012 GC expires

Thank you sooooooo much DaniG, I really appreciate your response and i would never think that the red number is the visa number as nothing saying that there. and thanks for the info about the I-94 too. And yeah /i'm filing both I-130 and i-485 so Chicago then.
