I was just checking my email at work and BAM, it hit me like a ton of bricks!!! WE GOT APPROVED!!! WHOA, I don't even know what to do with myself know!

I'm so thrilled! I just emailed my fiance and he doesn't even know yet! I can't wait for his return email with shouts of joy, too!

I'm just at a loss though now because we both have the same NOA1 date, but I have yet to even get my RFE and when I called the USCIS yesterday they confirmed that one hasn't been sent yet. How am I suppose to understand this? I could understand if they took a few weeks later if there was a large amount of applications received on that date, but a whole month later and still nothing. :(

May I ask... Did you use an attorney?

First of all, congrats on your upcoming wedding!! Hope the planning is going wonderfully ;)

We are in very similar positions in that we are both from SoCal and have fiances from SA. I just saw mine off tonight at the airport and my eyes are all puffy now and I'm totally depressed. We have no idea when we'll see each other again!! Tix are soooo expensive, as I'm sure you're aware...

Anyway, we are about to file the I-129...did you guys go through a lawyer or did you do it yourselves? Do you have any advice you could give? I know each case is different but if there is anything you could advise, that would be great.
