I can see why this is rude and socially unacceptable, but it's illegal too?

PLAINSBORO — Police are looking for a man who reportedly propositioned a township resident for sex.

Police said a Hunters Glen Drive woman was washing her clothes in a common laundry room around 4 p.m. Feb. 27, when she was approached by a man who asked if she would like to have sex. The woman declined, gathered her belongings and began to leave.

The man asked if she would accept money in return for sex, but the woman declined. He also asked if she knew of anyone who would accept money for sex.

The woman left the area and returned to her home. Police searched for the man but were unable to find him.

Yeah, same way prostitution is illegal... The buying/selling of sex are equally illegal. It's kind of lame.

In many states, the buyer gets a worse sentence/fine than the seller.

I think it's stupid in all honesty. If you want to use your goodies on your body to make money, more power to ya.

I know prostitution is illegal. But asking a woman if she'll take money for sex, her walking away and him not escalating the situation sounds like a decent outcome as these things go. I'd imagine the po-po could have spent their time elsewhere.

In NJ prostitution is illegal, the last I heard.

It may be this guy needs some cultural/sensitivity training

if he is foreign-born. In many countries this may be the

way to go to get a date, but in the US it's just plain

bad taste no matter what they do "back home."

If he was a USC there is no excuse whatsoever.

My guess is it falls under the sexual harassment statute wherever they are...

Wow, another weird story from the same area. Must be something in the air.

Police arrested Vadim Sapunov, 26, of Plainsboro, Saturday afternoon and charged him with disorderly conduct and lewdness. His friend, Larissa Solway, 23, of Highland Park, was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice.

Police said they were on Hunters Glen Drive at about 3:23 p.m. investigating a recovered stolen vehicle when Sapunov surprised officers in the residential complex parking lot by “attempting to act out a skit from the movie ‘Borat.’”

Sapunov was “dressed in a female bikini bathing suit which exposed his private parts,” police said.

Solway, meanwhile, was videotaping the incident and later falsely identified herself to police, their report says.

Besides that, too many women want sex, even more so than what guys want sex. We have our limits that decline with age, they don't.

Hey,

Asking for sex should be legit because that's how you ask your girlfriend or boyfriend. She should not call the police because of simply asking. However, when he offers money that is a different story.

It's called solicitation. Offering money for sex is not legal. That is how many potential Johns get busted. They offer undercover women cops money for certain sexual acts...next thing they know, they are handcuffed and in the back of a police car.

I think it's ridiculous. You can give away sex to total strangers all day long if you wanted, but if you ask for money, boom, your a criminal. I think prostitution should be legal, regulated and taxed, like any other business.

I guess. I always thought solicitation was asking a woman for sex for money if there was reason to believe she's a prostitute. Not just some random chick. But, I stand corrected.

But how is that differentiated by the so-called act of marriage. There you rotten spouse can really cream you to death for even a couple of times.

What about paying for flowers, a dinner, a theater, and drinks afterwards and not even asking for anything in return? That also works, just far more tactful. Playing hard to get for a guy, really works.
