When removing conditions, do I need to go through another medical or interview (interview similar to the embassy one)? also when I do receive my 10 yr GC, can I apply for a US passport?

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

You do not need to do another medical. You might need to do an interview (though apparently they're fairly rare - less than 20% or so).

And no, you can't apply for a US passport until you get your US citizenship. Your 10 year GC just makes you a non-conditional Lawful Permanent Resident. LPRs are not citizens, and must continue to use the passports of their home countries until and unless they apply for naturalization.

Timeline

You send the package, you'll receive an NOA letter and then a biometrics letter after which they may ask for an interview (as noted, pretty rare) and then you'll get your 10 yr card.

You can checkout recent timelines - right now Oct, Nov and Dec filers are being approved.

You should have your UK passport until you apply for naturalization and obtain citizenship in the US.

No, you don't need a medical exam. Interviews are most of the time waived and an approval is sent but there are a few cases that get interviewed. I wouldn't worry to much about it though.

As for the US passport, no you can't get one until you are a citizen. If you need something to travel with then you can apply for a US Travel document, also known as a re-entry permit.

You can apply for citizenship based on a marriaged to a US citizen 90 days before your 3rd year residence anniversary...

When did you become a permanent resident? Add two years and subtract 90 days...

Example:

August 20, 2008

Add two years:

August 20, 2010

Subtract 90 days:

May 22, 2010

Timeline
I was hoping to apply for it next year. My 2 years are up in 2012, feb

So your two-year GC was issued in Feb, 2010. That means you can apply to remove conditions sometime in November 2011. All other things being equal, and your RoC approved, you will be eligible to apply for naturalization sometime around November 2012. Naturalization tends to take 4-6 months, so you might possibly have your naturalization ceremony sometime around April-May 2013 at the earliest, and you'll be able to apply for a US passport immediately after the ceremony, once you have a certificate of naturalization in your hand.

I have arrived on a CR-1 visa on 02/25/2010, when will I receive my GC?

You should receive it very soon now. But the date the plastic card arrives in the mail doesn't matter so much. You already have green card STATUS, AKA LPR status. Your endorsed CR-1 visa with the "admitted" stamp serves as proof of this until you get the card in your hands.
