I sent my N400 out on the 03.01.2010 next day air.

It has been almost 12 days and they have not cashed my check, Should i be concerned.

contact your bank and see if they have any activity on your check? this may not be the best idea, but at this point it is your only option....

I don't believe you have anything to worry about yet. Wait a couple more days... They should cash your check pretty soon now. I sent them money order just for that reason alone-to cash it faster lol. Usually when you send them a check from your personal account, they wait a few days to make sure the money is there and the check won't bounce. That is why you haven't received anything yet. When you send them money order, the money is already in there, there is nothing for them to wait, therefore they cash that and send the fingerprint letter right away. This is something for others to consider if they are as inpatient as i was

I don't think you have to. I did send mine 02/22 and was received on 02/26. My cheque didn't clear until 03/05. From my observation, it looks like the Phoenix Lockbox is a bit slow comparatively. If that is where your docs went, then exercise some patience. It will clear.Good luck!

Today i received a letter stating that they received my package and i should see a letter in a few weeks from my local office for biometrics.

What's the date on the letter? I'd be interested to see if they received it the next day since you mailed it next day air?

Here is my recent timeline for N400, Hope it helps =)

05/18/10 submitted N400 application

05/22/10 priority date

05/29/10 received notice of receipt, also known as I-797C

06/14/10 received fingerprint notice

07/08/10 Fingerprint

07/15/10 Interview notice received, and was scheduled for 08/18/10, but due to family emergency, thus rescheduled.

09/10/10 rescheduled interview notice received

10/03/10 interview date

10/28/10 Oath letter received

11/17/10 Oath Ceremony

The IO told me it will take up to 90 days in order to receive my final approval since his supervisor needs to give the final approval to my case. and he didn't give me a very clear answer whether it is an oath notice that will come in the mail or the final approval notice because I know some of the people were told at the end of the interview that they will receive their oath notice in about 2-4 weeks. However, apparently it only takes a little more over 3 weeks to receive my oath notice and phew I was worried! BTW, my N652 was checked congratulation blah blah blah.

I hope my timeline helps for those who are still waiting for their oath notice, I know how frustrated it could be. Good luck to everyone =)
