pls. help me understand about my IR2

ahmm.. I'm an IR2 applicant.. from the Philippines... my mother is in the US.. my application was approved last Dec. and we already pay the fees.. how long it would take me to have my medical exam and interview after we paid the fees? and we've also send my picures and birthcertificate already.. pls. help anybody...

fees for what did you pay for? interview? medical? both? others?

anyway, if your mother is already a USC and your 21 or younger and not married , and her petition for you is already approved (it will usually state if you're already eligible to apply for a visa), you can call the embassy in manila if your papers have already been forwarded to them.

then, you can already scheduke for an interview and have your medical (no schedule, just go to st luke's w/your case no. or approval notice if you have a copy

if your mother is still an LPR and/or you're over 21 or older/married/unmarried, then you have to wait for a visa to be available for your category and apply for it
