If a child asked me to buy her a Barbie doll I would bring back a doll in a box that said it was a Barbie NOT a Teresa. Any child that can read even a little wouldn't believe a doll in a box labeled Teresa was a Barbie. Maybe Mattel need to think about the name on the boxes as well as the fact their black dolls are not really black but just brown coloured caucasian dolls. No wonder the white dolls sell faster.

When my niece was small she has a collection of Barbies in every skin tone and hair colour I could find and she was happy with all of them. She was too young to read the names on the boxes.
