Christina - print out the form - HAND WRITE the info ANYWHERE on the piece of paper, then scan it in, prep for PDF format.

Seriously - ANYWHERE ON THE FORM.

It's an ugly form.

I agree with you..

It is ugly...Lol

Thank you very much.

I m now waiting for NVC to switch the case # from GUZ to electronic processing. N how long will it take? Can I email in the AOS Package and IV package under the GUZ case # instead of waiting for the Electronic case #?

I have too many questions. Sorry about this.

Christina

Christina - if you'd already sent in the OPT IN email.

you need to wait, before sending anything.

is ok to PAY on the GUZ number, but sending in, no, must wait.

you'll receive email notification about successfully opting in - when you get that, send off the email sets.

Good Luck !

Don't forget -

The GUZ P3 supplemental goes with the DS-230 set.

A China member recently got an RFE for not sending it in with the DS-230.

It was weird though, as he sent it via seperate email 2 days after sending in the DS-230, and still got an RFE a week later.

(This was in the last 48 hours, btw)

Mondo Weird.

if it's been more than 11 days since sending off the OPT IN email -

email NVCElectronic@state.gov, with the casefile number (GUZ number)

the beneficiary's name and DOB,

your name and DOB,

and inquire about the status for OPTING IN.

Seems to have been a lag in 'conversion' these last 10 days.

Good Luck !

Hi, I got the response from NVC in regard of the OPTIN just now.

The case # is changed to GZO already.

Now, it is the time to send in I-864 and DS-230.

It is a good day today.

whoop! That's great news.

Since all is 'paid' already - (yes?)

you can send in the files via email within the same day - no worries there.

wow - that's almost a month from sending in OPT IN email to 'successful conversion'.

I've noticed a very nasty lag at NVC this month, for Electronic Processing. I wonder what the heck those SERCO contractor ppl are doing?

After you paid yer fees online - there was another lag for 10 days - the online payment portal went down, as well.

Good Luck !
