Visa waiver while he's deployed

So my boyfriend is deployed in Iraq at the moment with the US army and is getting leave in May for 2 weeks. He wants me to fly to the states to spend his leave with him which is all well and good - I can apply for the visa waiver program to do this. The only thing is, he doesn't find out his exact leave dates until a week or even a few days before he actually goes on leave (annoying army OPSEC protocol) so I wont be able to fill out an application for visa waiver with my flight dates b/c we don't want to put me on a flight to Atlanta GA without knowing when he is going to arrive, coz then I will be there by myself with nothing to do and no one I know :(

How can we do this? Can we notify of the dates I will be travelling when he finds out even though it's so close to the date I will be travelling or does this application take a while to process?

PLEASE HELP WE ARE DESPERATE! We haven't seen each other since he came here to Australia back in September just before he deployed :(

Registering with ESTA is instant. Providing there is nothing in your background that prevents you from an instant approval, you will be fine. You do need your flight details and passport info but I have seen people register at the airport when checking in because they had a connecting flight on US soil and did not realise they would still need it.

You will be fine. :star:

Ps: Remember to have a pen hand for the longa$s application number.
