Hi,

We just got a text message and email that production of card has been ordered. We are VERY MUCH looking forwrd to AP as it is critical my sweet gets home ASAP.

I looked at USCIS and both EAD and AP were touched today for the first time in three week (EAD) and two months (AP).

So my questions are ...

Would this indicate AP approval is imminent?

Does card production ordered today equal EAD approved today?

Can EAD approval (or card production order) be used for travel (probably not)?

Thanks

P

If there is an urgent need to go home (like a medical issue) then you can request an infopass appointment to get an expedite of the AP meaning you'd get it very soon. (I believe 24-48 hours depending on the urgency).

if it's more about missing home then best to wait.

There is no URGENT need ....... yet. I understand that severe illness and death is the only way to get emergency AP. That is not the case here. But it is not missing family either.

Regardless .. I am being a bit nervous. It seems through some other people's timeline histories, that often, AP and EAD are approved on the same day.

We received EAD approval yesterday but not AP. AP did get a touch yesterday (as did EAD). Need there be a reason for concern???

I know it has only been, what?, fifteen hours since EAD approval notification, but we are extremely worried as there is good reason (for us) why we need AP (like yesterday!).

Thoughts?

That sounds like a good thing. I ahve read here that some people never get a touch and get AP.

I can only hope today is the big day!

Hi,

a little update .. We got another touch Friday 3/12 (had one on 3/11) on our much needed AP .. but still today no approval.

Still think it is odd a lot of people get AP and EAD approval on same day. We got EAD approval on 3/11.

I see a couple of people got both EAD and AP on 3/11/1020 .. but we didn't.

Can anyone tell me anything that will settle my nerves? we are desparate for AP.

My EAD and AP were touched on March, 9th, EAD was approved the same day and AP has been in the initial review stage ever since. However, I got my AP docs in the mail today. I guess, payxibka is right, online system is not completely reliable. I hope you'll get your AP very very soon. Good luck!
