Our attorney sent us the original packet yeserday; my husband and I are going to sign them and then...we will finally turn it in!!

Excited! :dance::dance::dance:

Anybody else filing anytime soon?

Great news to hear you are ready to file, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, review every document that was prepared by your attorney before you sign and send your packet.

Far to often mistakes are found when documents are prepared by "others" (even attorneys). The fact that a attorney has filled them out for you does not absolve you from responsibility if there is an error.

Not trying to worry you or anything but just saying to cover yourself and do a very thorough review of everything.

Good Luck and Best wishes on your journey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Bernie,

thanks for your advise.

Our attorney has send us all the forms (via email) so we could make sure they are filled out correctly (which they indeed were not the first x times).

Now everything is looking great and we cannot wait to get the forms turned in :)

That's great but since you're posting this in the K3 thread, you'll want to make sure your attorney is up to speed on the fact that K3 is dead and gone. Any fees he was charging to file the second petition should be refunded. Are there any children immigrating with your spouse?
