Oh No...I think I did a mistake...

Hi People,

We did a mistake of paying the DS230 bill before the arrival of invoice bill. What happened was, NVC sent a mail of acceptance of my DS3032 and in that mail there is a line "pay the bill before the instruction will be sent"..After that, I checked the payment portal and DS230 bill was there with the status "Not Paid"...So we thought we should pay the bill right away and we did so......After that, we thought of checking with the operator (which we should have done before paying it " and she said, U shouldnt have paid the bill before the invoice get generated.....Then only it striked us and we felt very bad of paying it, out of the excitement......Will it create any problem in the process.....Whether the amount paid wrongly will be cancelled........

This is the classic example for the saying " haste make waste"

I feel very bad of this....

I paid everything in advance before receiving paperwork from the NVC and my husband had no problems. They always tell you to wait for their letters before doing anything but if you read the shortcuts you know that you can send things in before you receive their letters.

Oh Thanks for the info...My only worry is the Invoice ID No....We used the same Invoice ID no of AOS bill......Is it fine....

Yep. You only get one invoice ID number. It doesn't change. Memorize it because you'll be using it to log in a million times to check for "log in fail" status soon.
