Uh oh, what kind of mistakes did you have? Hopefully nothing major.

I hope they won't notice ;-)) In John's letter head, we accidentally put my old US phone number instead of his!!! :bonk: :bonk:

At least, the one in the I-129F form is the right one. I just pray that they will use that one and completely overlook that mishap!

And I put my secondary residence in the G-325A form, but my primary residence and mailing address in the I-129F, which is not really a mistake, it might just confuse them having two different addresses listed... :crying:

Pray for us and cross your fingers!!

We could very well see much slower results. April 1 was the day the USCIS started accepting H-1B visa applications. A lot of the work force will be moved over to process those visas, leaving a limited amount of workers to process other types, including our K1s. Unless we get very lucky it very possible we'll have to wait the regular 4 to 5 months.....

Not what I wanted to hear. What a buzzkill.

when I started reading this it made me very sad, I got back from my trip in early Feb. but took my time getting everything together. Now I am seeing all these people who sent in their packets in early feb. getting approved and I am kicking myself. I haven't told my fiancee about this yet because I don't wish to depress her since she already misses me so much.

Yes I know all about the "5 month" timeline but I was really getting excited seeing the quick processing times.

How disappointing. Makes me wish I got our I-129F package ready and sent out in February. I originally wanted to send it out in January. January went by so fast for me, and February was busy... I was working more hours in February, and it seemed every week of that month when I had a day off from work, I was doing something with my fiance. (He was visiting me in the U.S. at the time, from December to March) We had Valentine's Day, his birthday, our trip to Portland to see a show... Then we had one week left together... I made sure everything he needed to sign was ready and he signed it before he went home, but I didn't finish the entire package and sent it until after he flew back to Finland. Of course, nothing can be changed now, but it makes me kind of wish I spent more time getting the package ready and sent out in January or February. Time just goes by so fast when we are together, but when we are apart, time goes sooooo slow... I miss him a lot. :(

Sharing all info is a good idea..we have to have each others back and let everyone know whats happening..thats the reason for this..but still Im going to forget you said it and hope for the best........being separated is bad enough without dwelling on our times being extended out..5 months would be worst case most definitely..
