I soooo wish I knew when Petteri's interview date would be... Petteri's doctor that gave him the medical exam said he gave the papers to the Helsinki Embassy, but he told Petteri to ask them to make sure they have it... So I emailed the embassy for him, and the embassy emailed me back saying to ask them again next week. I'm a little frustrated as to why we have to wait until next week to get an answer. So Petteri emailed them yesterday. I guess we'll find out eventually. I'm so tired of waiting though. I wish I knew why we can't get an answer now.

My sweetheart just arrived in Guangzhou by train earlier. Interview is on Monday, Sunday night for me, it's gonna be a long evening waiting on her (hopefully very happy) phone call. Good luck to everyone on their interviews.

Just got back from Frankfurt. I am SOOOOO happy :D

Great experience. The interview went really well (even though I was nervous and wasn't as eloquent as usual). Thank God!

Congrats to all others who got their visas approved!!

Thank you all! I know I've been thinking of Soph too. It's funny that we had our interview the same day.

Petteri will be fine, I'm sure. But I know how you're feeling. At some point, you just wanna have it over with. I was getting so frustrated last week...everything was ready and taken care of - just the deposit slip I need for Germany just wasn't being sent...almost had to reschedule - I was so over it, but it all worked out in the end, luckily :-) Just hang in there, BirdyGirl! (F)

Thank you Travelbugs... I guess the waiting is just really hard. I think the separation is just making everything harder since I miss him so much. (But I know we are all dealing with that) But I guess it shouldn't matter waiting this long since he's doesn't think he'll be ready to move until November... Looks like by your timeline, you'll be moving to the U.S. in November as well.

She will be flying into Minnepolis since I don't want her having to rush to catch a flight here from somewhere like Chicago.

I think I got approved ! Even though they didnt tell me clearly that I got it: everything went very well and they started to talk to me about the rules when I would be in america ! They took my finger prints and my passport :)

:dance: We are so happy ! :dance:

They didnt ask questions about my overstay so I was relieved !

Congrats for florianns man and travel bugs !!

ps I put my review on my timeline but I don't know if it's the same experience in other ambassies so I don't know if it's helpful for you guys !

Travelbugs...so jealous..hehehe!! I love San Diego....it is so beautiful there. I live by San Francisco but still SD is the best. Good luck with everything. :)

oh..I got my interview date..haha...Sept 30th!!! I have to wait two more bloody months. :crying: But at least, I have something...UGH!!!
