Sorry about that, I don't know what to say. Try to ask on the main K1 forum, maybe people will come up with a solution or a different phone number. Is there a way for you to visit her so you can make the waiting less difficult for her ?

I which I could afford to visit her before the petition got approved. But, I cannot afford it.

Hello !

Something that is probably not a big deal but I would like you to confirm !!

When I checked my documents today I noticed that on the ds-156, I put my first name in question 7 and my middle name in question 9 instead of putting them both on question 7...

Does it matter ? Is it going to make a difference if I got the visa ?

thank you !

Interview D-5 !

What name does it show on your passport because they ask for First and Middle on question 7. I guess you can call them and verify the name than waiting if it will create a issue with them. :)

I am sorry azteca that you are having problems. I would just try to speak to someone live even you have not reached the 5 month timeline. I know it says you can only speak to live person for address change or something is wrong, just press that option and speak to someone. I am guilty of doing that. :D

LOL. I had to ask them a question regarding something. It was a only way to reach to a live person. I wouldn't be too worried about them getting mad. Rest your wish. :)

Aww, I'm sorry for those still waiting for their NOA2. That must be really hard... I would go ahead and call USCIS and try to talk to a live person.

As for me and Petteri, we have everything together, even the documents I sent him, but we are missing some vaccination information from Petteri's medical record and the doctor's signature, and the doctor is on a six week vacation right now. (Jeez! That is such a long vacation!) Petteri told me that the doctor told him he would take care of things like that while he is on vacation but it seems like Petteri is having trouble getting a hold of him. And Petteri will not send the checklist in until he gets what he needs from that doctor. Blah... I hope the doctor takes care of this soon. I feel like I have been waiting so long for Petteri to finally be able to send his checklist in... I just want an interview date for him already.

Honestly, we sent in our packet 3 without the medical report. Actually, we need an interview letter for medical. Either way, good luck to you. :)

Thank you. Well honestly if we sent in the checklist in now I think it would be fine, I bet Petteri would get the papers he needs from that doctor before the interview date. But Petteri doesn't want to risk it, he doesn't want to have to reschedule the interview. Petteri told me that his doctor said that while he is on vacation he checks in on his work once a week so I hope sometime next week he will get a hold of Petteri. I'm just impatient I guess. It's just I feel like all of June was wasted since it took forever to get my tax return transcripts. (It took a month) But I do know we are luckier then others, some of you are still waiting for your NOA2... Good luck to everyone. I really can't wait for that day when I pick up Petteri from the airport, knowing that he will be here permanently, he can now call this place "home." :)

A month, that is ridiculous. What are we paying taxes for anyway.

I don't have the transcripts I just have the tax returns for the 3 last years ! it's a lot of papers !!! :) but It's too late because it's coming next wednesday.

If I send a fax to ask about my question regarding my little mistake, I am afraid it will be too late because it's the week-end and I am leaving Tuesday morning for Paris because of my medical !

If it really bother them they can correct it while I am there :D !!

I am going to give it a try.

I haven't tried calling either because it hasn't reached the 5 months point. You should let me know what they say! Or if they just tell you to wait for another month and call back. What number is it that we call anyway? Is it 1-800-375-5283?

- March 24, 2010 sent off petition

- March 26, 2010 item was received in LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92677

- March 29, 2010 check cashed

- March 29, 2010 NOA1 Notice Date

- April 3, 2010 received hard copy of NOA1

- August 19, 2010 touched

- August 19, Approved! (received NOA2 August 23rd)

- Left NVC August 27, 2010 to London, England

Yes, that is the number that I called. The first person I spoke to did not have a clue. So, he transferred me to an agent. The first customer representative told me the whole process should take five months. When he told me this I was confused and a little upset. But, he was not able to answer my specific questions. He then transferred my call to an immigration agent. He could not explain well either. But, what I understood is that the service center has five months to approve your petition. I have to wait another month for my NOA2. After that point, it could be another month and a half before the open interview in Cuidad Juarez.
