Rich told me also he would fly to France , I overstayed last year and we don't want to take any risks ... I am missing him so much and doing this all process again would be devastating for both of us.

Does it make a huge difference to have the fiance coming to the interview. I mean : I am assuming " yes " but does it make it 99% chance of success ?

Great News today. After staring at the US Embassy Website waiting for the June schedule to come out all day I finally finished work at 5pm. When I got to my car, I see a missed call from Ying and a text message. She text me and said she had good news. Her interview date is 22 June 2010! She said she received a phone call from the Embassy. They asked if she completed her medical exam and she said yes. She said the Embassy Lady was Thai and spoke very polite. She has to go to the Embassy tomorrow to get her fingerprints done. They said if she doesn't go tomorrow then we will have to pay the new $350 Visa Fee. We are so happy right now and I feel like I have my sanity back!!

 That's a very good new ! so now you can officially start the count down ! D-20 ! Congrats ! One more step and you guys are done ....well, almost !

I haven't really study the after "approval" part But I don't think it can be worst than the K1 process !

I know the embassy has my package 3 now, I hope they will reply to me very soon.

I notice that we don't have much people that got RFE on this forum, I hope that they are doing okay and that it was just a little mistake on the filling part

I just got my NOA 2. It seems CSC are pretty fast at processing responses to RFEs - it only took 8 days from the day I sent it to getting the approval email, and that includes a public holiday!

In case anyone is curious, the RFE was asking for more evidence that we had met in person in the last two years. It was a bit of a surprise as I'd included lots of evidence in the initial petition - passport stamps, boarding passes, hotel receipts, ferry tickets, photos, etc. In the response I resubmitted all that plus more receipts, credit card statements, flight itineraries, letters from people who had seen us together, more photos, etc. It came to an extra 170 pages... thankfully the adjudicator saw sense in the end :)

Gah! When I start seeing everyone around me getting their petition approved I start thinking ours will be approved any day now. I start checking my phone every other hour. I feel like a girl after a first date waiting next to the phone for the guy she likes to at least give her a call, but he never does :crying: . Come on USCIS! *shakes my phone* Don't you like me?! Even a little bit? I wouldn't mind if you lead me on! I'd settle for a touch! :P
