Out of curiosity do you guys know what's in package 4 ?

package 4 is just a letter with your appointment date

Not yet J. My embassy is back-logged, there are people who been waiting for a month. No luck yet. But congrats on your interview date. It is approaching soon.

Congrats on NOA2!!! I am still waiting to get an interview date, there are no slots open! People have been waiting for a month for an interview. I hate it!

Finally got a touch dated 05/28! we haven't got any touch since 03/22, 4 days after the noa1, so at least it's good to see that something is about to happen, hopefully the noa2!!

hopefully, its the NOA2....mine got touched and aprroved 5/26/2010 in the same time...and it was the first time i'm able to check my case online since from NOA1 date 3/30/2010..

Hello everybody..

I really don't want to be a killjoy or something like that, but I have just read that processing timeframe for K1 visas went from 5 to 6 months as of May 14.

They have been working at a lot slower rate lately than 3-4 weeks ago. There weren't as many approvals as we all expected.

Good luck to everybody who's still waiting. I sincerely hope that USCIS will speed up again very soon.

Also my fiancée just told me that the cost for appointments is going up from 131 to 350 as of the 4th of this month

Yes, she's right.. In some embassies that has been going on for quite a while now. Besides $350, it seems like my embassy has been charging (for some time now, at least that's what its official web site states) additional $45 security surcharge for each intending immigrant, regardless of age. I don't know what it's all about, but in total it sure is a lot of money. But in the end I guess that no price is high when it comes to true love..

Wow awesome! Looks like you'll be the first CSC March filer to be getting your visa! Good luck at the interview!

As for us, we're not sure when our interview will be. The embassy wont be sending Petteri package 4 until he sends back the checklist signed, saying that we have all the documents needed for the interview. I requested transcripts of my tax returns so we're waiting on that, plus I'm waiting for a letter from my boss, I should be getting that from him today actually! I'm trying to decide if I should go to Finland to be with him during the interview. I do want to, but flights cost even more in the summer time it seems... Although I would love to go since I miss him so much. I'm not sure what to do yet. I think he would be fine without me, but at the same time I want to be there to be supportive and it will show our relationship is real if I go too. I think I'm more stressed about the interview then Petteri is. He's not really worried about it if I don't go with him to the interview, he thinks it will be fine either way.

We got an other touch on the 31th!!!! I am just assuming they never worked on our case since noa1 was issued! How many touches do we need before getting approved??!

I know what you mean. I have decided to go despite of costly tickets since my embassy being on top of the list for fraudulent cases. I dont' want to take any risk..
