They cashed my check yesterday. This is the first time I've ever been happy for the government to take my money.

Aww, I sent my I-129F package the same day as you, and my check still hasn't been cashed... But I see you are closer to the CSC then I am, so your package probably got there a little faster. (Well I'm guessing you probably live in or close to San Jose if your Local Service Center is San Jose. I used to live in San Jose CA! I like it there) Well I'm hoping my check will be cashed in a few days.

I am a March Filer as well. Even though I mailed the NOA in Feb it was not received until March 1st. I know how all you feel about waiting for the check to clear. Once the check clears look at the back and you should be able to get your Case Number. My begins with WAC. Good luck to everyone.

Yep I'm living in Mountain View, posted the I-129F in Alviso since that's close to my work.

All things being equal, they should be cashing your check very soon. And then the real waiting begins

We received our NOA1 yesterday ! I checked on the USCIS website, it says "initial review" does it mean we can still get RFE or they just didn't update ?

I think it will be in "initial review" until you either get an RFE or the NOA2/approval. So if you don't get an RFE it will keep saying "initial review" for a couple months until they approve you.

Hello everyone! We sent our I-129F package to CSC on March 16. CSC received it March 18. Still waiting on our NOA1...hope it comes soon. Good luck to all!

Aww, I feel a little sad... My check still hasn't been cashed, and I haven't received anything in the mail... I mailed my package with a return receipt, so I know that should get sent back to me once the CSC received my package.

Don't worry it's gonna come soon ! We received NOA1 but we are still waiting on the hard copy.

I heard of a slower process in march because of H1B visa...Is it true ?

Thank you. Still nothing yet for me. I guess I'm just kind of surprised my check hasn't been cashed yet. It makes me worry that my package got lost or there is something wrong with my package. I hope everything is ok. I hope sometime next week that something will happen. It just seems like my check should of been cashed by now.

Sometimes it's faster sometime it's slower ! There is nothing we can do about it ! I decided to stop thinking about it because it stresses me so much. Plus I am pretty sure your case is very easy and common ! I read some crasy story on VJ where people have to deal with more than just waiting like us for NOA1 to get there !!! At the beg I was stressing a lot because I overstayed last year ( less that 180 days).Now, I am like : We won't know unless we try !!

Look at Travelbugs, their already got the hardcopy of NOA1. (Congrat's by the way !) Ours is gonna come soon birdygirl185 !!

Hello fellow March filers. I hired a lawyer to take care of my K1 package. It was sent out on 3/8 and we received notice of receipt on 3/15. The checked was cashed on 3/12. California told us they would take about 3-4 months to finish their part. It sounds about right I guess. You know if I found this site before sending it to a lawyer I might have tried this myself. Good luck everyone.
