Victoria,

I advise you to check the embassy specific information here on visa journey (http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United%20Kingdom&cty=London). Every consulate is different so I cannot tell you the UK embassy processing times are. I also advise you to check the specific consulate discussion on the UK forum. As you already have NOA2 approval, you should start working on the other documents you need to completed.

Hi Evey! Thats great! What is in the packet 3 exactly? And Im looking at your timeline ..we got our NOA2 on 4/26/10 and Im trying to figure out how quick it moves thru NVC and on to UK...my fiancee has a job and hes trying to figure out when the best time to tell them is..and best of luck to everyone on their touches!!!all good thoughts :star:

Hi, it really was just a letter stating where to download the forms he will need. Gerhard also said that it said that when he has all his paperwork ready to call for an appointment date. We thought that they give you a date, I was a little surprised at that and wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience with their embassy notice. Oh but trust me we are very happy with that. :)

2 minutes after posting this I got a text from the uscis, logged on the website and it said we got approved yesterday. Normally I'd be jumping over the roof but the lady and I are having problems unfortunately. In any case this is good news. Good luck to everyone else still waiting.

just recieved an email notification and text message about our application being approved yesterday, may 4, 2010.

however when i checked the uscis website for my case status it went from "initial review" all the way to the 2nd to last step which was the "post-decision activity".

now, my question is... how come it skipped "testing and interview"? of course "rfe" and "decision" was skipped for obvious reasons.

should i assume that there will not be an interview?

Since my status is also in post-decision activity, I can say that it only means your petition has been approved. Your case will be shipped to NVC; thereafter, to your embassy for standard process (packet 3, packet 4, and interview for the visa).

congrats on NOA2
