Just recieved a TOUCH! My heart is racing right now! Come on NOA2!

I am praying that I don't get an RFE. After ready VJ everyday for the last 50+ days, I know I made mistakes. I forgot to put the province in one section and there are gaps in her employment history. I hope they can overlook those errors. If I get through this stage, it will be a huge relief for me.

YAY! I just checked our case status on the USCIS website and I saw we had a touch... I clicked and saw that we have been approved!!! They must have changed our status today, but it said that we were approved on the 19th which was yesterday. We should be getting a hard copy of the NOA2 in the mail soon. Hello,

I'd like to congratulate to all of you who got their NOA2's. I really hope that everything will move much faster for you now and that you all will be with your loved ones very soon. I don't expect my NOA2 to come before May 20th, but I believe that I've been quite patient so far and that I will be for the next month or so.

I have some questions and I would really appreciate your help. Here's the thing: I know exactly what's going on when you get your NOA2- your petition gets forwarded to NVC for further processing which lasts for a couple of weeks, after that they send your petition to your country consulate/ embassy, the consulate sends you packet 3 and after you send them the documents they need they set a date for your medical and interview and that's about it.

What I don't know is how to track your case after it gets to NVC, so could anyone please clarify this? You call the NVC, enter the number of your petition and they tell you what's going on with it at that moment? Is that the case? Or if it's not, if I'm wrong then how do you do that?

K-1 VISA JOURNEY 2010:

March 24th: I-129F filed

March 26th: NOA1 date

May 24th: NOA2 date

May 25th- Jun 3rd: Case @ NVC

Jun 7th: Embassy received

Jun 15th: Embassy sent pkt 3

Jun 17th: Pkt 3 received :)

Jun 22nd: Medical @ 7 a.m. (Kosevo)/ Jun 23rd: Passed

Jun 29th: Interview @ 13:30: Approved/ Jun 30th: Visa in hand

AOS JOURNEY 2010/2011:

October 25th: AOS, EAD and AP filed

November 1st: AOS, EAD and AP NOA1 date

November 18th: AOS and EAD biometrics appointment

January 6th: AOS case transferred to CSC

January 15th: AP document received (YAY! One step closer to GC!)

January 18th: EAD card received :)))))

February 17th: GC card production ordered

February 24th: GC arrived in mail :) What a relief..
