definition of obsession...

here I am Monday morning at 8am wondering how the CSC will perform this week. I know they are way ahead of schedule already but that doesn't matter to me or my sweetie. I am already looking for approvals on Igors list even though it is only 6am in California. :bonk:

in reality living here in Minnesota, I am hoping for a gradual transition to winter for her so my goal is to have her arrive sometime in August

We filed at the tail end of March and so far not a word... :hehe: the wait seems so much worse once you file vs. getting ready to file because now that others that filed with us have their NOA1's I'm thinking... did I dot that 'i' and cross that 't'? Good luck to the fellow Marchers!

i just checked the USCIS website and it says under initial review does that mean its been touched, for NOA2?

nope, just means that they have received your petition and are doing the background checks. I am pretty certain "initial reveiw" is just the default wording that they have. when you get "touched" the date shown when you log in to your account will change. Mine went from 3/12 to 3/15 but never changed from initial review.

There is no ryhyme or reason why some petitions are approved before others. Just hope for the best. Hope CSC is not quiet this week, thus far it has been very slow since Friday.

2010-02-26: Mailed I-129F to CSC via USPS Priority

2010-02-27: Recieved by CSC

2010-03-01: NOA1

2010-03-02: Check Cashed

2010-04-20: "Touched"

2010-04-20: USCIS Online NOA2 Approval (No email or text received)

2010-04-26: NOA2 Hard copy received in the mail.

2010-04-26: Confirmed NVC received

2010-04-28: NVC Shipped case to Bangkok Embassy

2010-05-03: Embassy recieved

2010-05-05: Packet 3 sent to Embassy

2010-05-10: Embassy received Packet 3

2010-06-01: Ying receives phone call from US Embassy about interview date.

2010-06-22: Interview Passed!! Experience

yea i was just thinking the same thing this morning, i'm just happy people that filed around the same time as me are getting approved that can only mean mine is coming up :D

Has anyone seen any RFEs in March? I was doing really well for the first two weeks after my NOA1. Now, I'm turning into a basket case. I signed up for e-mail and text alerts, but I still find myself checking the USCIS twice a day. I'm not going to admit how much time I have spent here comparing my timeline to other timelines.

You don't want an RFE. You want the NOA2. Follow Igors Lists (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?cfl=) and you can see the most recent approvals. I wish I could contain myself from checking USCIS twice a day. I check WAY more than that. Good luck
