Well when I got the first USCIS touch, I jumped up and did a fist pump and roared "YES!". After that I was calm, because I might have to wait 2 more days to find out if it was an approval or an RFE. When I checked about an hour later, saw the approval, I think I shed 10 lbs of tension... with a gigantic toothy grin...

Rich, I can feel it, coming in the air tonight... hold on... hold on...

HI, Just thought I would step in for a quick introduction, I filed at the CSC and received NOA 1 on March 15th. We're really encouraged to see so many cases going through so quickly. Hopefully the trend will continue. We're just waiting like everyone else, our hope is that we can arrange for an interview in Vancouver during July so that I can travel with my fiancee to the interview. We haven't made any actual wedding plans so time is not an issue for now. This is a great site, I don't know how we could get through this process without it. Gary

Welcome !!!

We haven't made plan neither, the K1 visa is already a lot of stress ! We don't want to add of it more by thinking about the organization ! We thought about doing a big one in the summer but then we realized that 4 months to invite people and make it happen would be too complicate for us : Rich would technically have to take care of everything since I am in France !

So no stress we are just gonna go to the court house and pretend that the real wedding is coming next year !

Nothing new here either...but I'm having big hopes for next week

Who knows? I know this waiting really is hard, and what makes it even harder is being so far away from each other.

John was supposed to get here in two days for a whole month, but with this ash cloud hovering all over Europe, the chances are very low :crying: ...oh well, holding out til air traffic is up and running again....hopefully SOON!

Hello fellow March 2010 CSC filers!

CVC received my I129F package on 3/08/10, check cashed on 3/09/10. I have not yet received any NOA1 notification. USCIC website says status is "initial review"

My K-1 should be a relatively simple case - no kids, no previous marriages, no problem with any of the paperwork (unless some unforseen glitch comes up!), no problem meeting any of the requirements. Interview would be at the Manila Embassy.

I seems like CVC has really been moving really fast lately.

Do you think getting her here by late July/early August is possible?

count us in for march filers we sent ours last march 22,2010.was looking at your timeline and suprise how fast you got your noa2.hope we get ours soon.best luck to us csc march filers!!!

Hello

Did you guys ( beneficiary) start doing anything about the next step ? I haven't start anything yet and I was wondering if I should start filling form or see what's going to happen next. I am not in a big rush because I feel like in France it take a little bit longer to get an appointment at the consul.

bye ( I am glad that the week end is over because the uscis people can go back to work on our case !!!

Yes. I would have the beneficiary start gathering things she needs for her appointment. My fiancee has already applied for the police certificate and started getting somethings translated into English. She will also do her medical exam beginning of May. For the USEM Bangkok the police certificate and medical is good for one year. My goal is to have everything ready so when the packet is sent to the embassy she can mail all the documents required in packet 3. Check the USEM France website and see if they have anything posted about packet three contents.
