That's awesome. So I figured, you got your NOA1 two weeks before me, and you got a touch today... So if I get a touch in two weeks, it will be on birthday! I'm being silly, like it would be that exact... But it is exciting that someone in the March group here got a touch today. I have been missing my fiance so much lately... :(

I know how you feel... it's been months since I've seen my dear sweet one! I'm headed there to Phil early next month, it would be nice if I had more than one package waiting for me there!

Best of luck to you and all March filers!

Though I'd love to think that we'll be next (our sending date and NOA1 are exactly the same as JR's) sometimes I think there is no rhyme or reason to who gets approved. It will happen when it is meant to, I suppose. Surely we'll start to see more approvals within the next week or so.

A March filer here as well, we sent the petition in on the 4th and... well... this baby arrived in my inbox this morning:

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On April 14, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was at work at the time, and thought that our case was most likely just "touched"... clicked on the e-mail, thinking "at least that's something" and... I was stuck for a good two minutes thinking if I'm hallucinating. Then my hands started shaking :| Our case being eeeever so slightly off the mill I thought we would take a lot longer than even the regular 3 months or so. Go California! Wow. This moves the case to a point a fair lot earlier than I thought, though, a little worried, but strangely happy at the same time.

Though being such a huge pessimist I can't help but think there might be an RFE hidden in there somewhere, or we'll totally fail to go through the NVC/consulate process, or, or, or... :X

Good luck everyone!! I hope they've sped up the process for all filers instead of this being an individual processing. This is so weird right now. Still thinking of all sorts of potential pitfalls... >_>
