Well I don't know when Petteri's interview will be. I will be sending everything to him, that I have for his interview on Thursday, and once he gets it he will send in his checklist. So he will probably get the package from me around the 15th. So even if he sends the checklist in the next day, I doubt he will get an interview date in July. But maybe he will, who knows. But he already had his medical exam and passed everything, he has no health problems. I'm happy about that. Although I wasn't really worried since he is young. But I was still glad to hear he was fine and has no health problems.

We just got our interview date everyone, July 23rd 2010 at 8 a.m.. I am so excited I don't even know if I posted in the right place

Our time line

2010-03-02 I-129F Application sent to CSC

2010-03-04 Check cashed

2010-03-05 NOA1 Receipt

2010-03-08 Touched

2010-04-14 NOA2 Received email that our I-129F application was approved

2010-04-20 NOA2 hard copy received, Petition sent to NVC

2010-04-20 NVC sent Petition sent to embassy

2010-04-21 Called NVC and got case number

2010-04-23 Petition received at London Embassy

2010-04-28 Packet 3 letter of instructions from the London Embassy

2010-05-10 Medical appointment scheduled

2010-05-10 Passed medical, embassy will get report by Thursday

2010-06-19 Sent in packet 3

2010-07-07 Received appointment letter

2010-07-23 Interview Day

2010-07-23 Approoved!

2010-08-05 Recieved visa

2010-09-02 POE Arriving Atlanta

So I got my NOA2 on 6/17...I got my Case#, but have called back (603-334-0700) for the status often...all I get is we still have your package, call back in a few days to get a new status. Any suggestions? Thanks!

OK, so i just talked to them 5 minutes later...and they finally send my package today.

Wow, this sucks. I am still waiting on my NOA2.

- March 24, 2010 sent off petition

- March 26, 2010 item was received in LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92677

- March 29, 2010 check cashed

- March 29, 2010 NOA1 Notice Date

- April 3, 2010 received hard copy of NOA1

- August 19, 2010 touched

- August 19, Approved! (received NOA2 August 23rd)

- Left NVC August 27, 2010 to London, England

Is it possible to call USCIS? It has not been five months yet.

I would call them, worst case scenario they will be grumpy with you on the phone but at least you will know what's going on !

I have called several times and it is an automated system that just gives me the same information as the website. I believe there is an option to talk to someone if you have a change of address or if something is wrong with your petition. But, there is a disclaimer stating the five month deadline. My only concern is that if I wait five months and something is wrong with my petition, I am going to have to wait longer. My fiance is starting to get very desperate...jajaja. It will be four months on 07/23/10.

Hello !

Something that is probably not a big deal but I would like you to confirm !!

When I checked my documents today I noticed that on the ds-156, I put my first name in question 7 and my middle name in question 9 instead of putting them both on question 7...

Does it matter ? Is it going to make a difference if I got the visa ?

Sorry about that, I don't know what to say. Try to ask on the main K1 forum, maybe people will come up with a solution or a different phone number. Is there a way for you to visit her so you can make the waiting less difficult for her ?
