It's hard for people to comprehend that it is a 'problem' overall and the vast majority are of a certain origin.

Is it unfortunate that something like profiling might be necessary, yes it is.

If someone could come up with a better option to rid the nation of the illegals, be my guest, but as we stand now, to find people, you have to profile those who might be innocent.

It's just like "circumstantial" evidence. You might be innocent, but don't think that some prosecutors won't let a jury decide your fate. Evidence pointed that you might have done something and now it's up to the system to check and see if you did or not.

That you could try to use this analogy to prove your point in such a manner with such a reckless disregard for the truth suggests to me that, using your logic of profiling, that the rest of your arguments are equally faulty and should be given no weight whatsoever.

It's wrong that I should have to pay for wars overseas, it's wrong I should have to pay for welfare recipients, it's wrong that I should have to pay for medicaid, should have to pay for illegals health care from them sucking up hospital resources, that I should have to deem someone a citizen who really has no ties to this nation other than being born here, etc...

We can make this list go on and on about what we "think" is wrong and what we "think" is right.

The only fact is, is that there are millions of Hispanic illegals in this country, far more than any other 'group' of people out there. The question becomes, what the hell can we do about it, that wouldn't be "wrong."

When a number of people liek yourself here the word minority or profiling, you always go on some sort of crusade against the people. Of course, you rarely use facts just the same old 'it's wrong' cliches or 'you're racist / bigoted' labels.

Okay five, lets even say 10 out of everyone. That still leaves 62 being Hispanic. Therefore, close to 84% of America's most wanted by the FBI are Hispanic. Had that been the case in AUS, immigration from those regions would be reduced to zero. Actually it almost is: hehehe

We don't need to profile. As has been discussed many times before, slap a $100k fine per offense, close the anchor-baby loophole, stop providing free government services to those not here legally, and the problem will go away without any profiling necessary.

There's millions more illegals than there are serial killers, so you can try and make your argument, but it is quite different.

As I said though:

I mean the simplest things here work: Person gets pulled over, can't speak English... Well, then maybe they should be looked into a little bit more.

I'm not saying just because they 'look' Hispanic they should be stopped and questioned, but if there's another reason why they're already doing illegal or being questioned and they fit the bill, why the hell not?
