I believe that you can't fix the problem without addressing the reason for the migration - which is poverty and lack of economic opportunities in the home country. Obviously the extent to which the US can do this is limited, so really the only thing that can be done directly is to tackle the employers and firming up the laws to curtail identity theft.

I also believe that with so many hispanic/latino USCs having significant family ties south of the border (much the same as 3rd - 4th generation Indian/Pakistani immigrants in the UK have to their respective countries) that this is always going to be an issue - and that you will always be dealing with illegal immigration in some form or other.

You'll have to live with it, I'm afraid.

The truth is as well is the Hispanic population who rushes to the US are plain wusses when you get down to it. You'd think witht he millions of people who all seem to feel the same way about their country, they could get together and over throw their government and work to build a better home country.

You have these idiots here from Mexico who put attention on themselves and support Mexico above the United States and yet hate their own country at the same time.. What the hell? There's a movement in the Hispanic community that pushes this type of bullshit and have been for quite awhile now. So obviously, they have no interest in being a part of the United States really, they just don't like how things are right now on the home front.... If they really gave a damn though, they'd do something about it.

Realistically, any good or bad assumption about a group is a broadbrush generalization, therefore, most of us run on empirical observations. If someone abroad asked me who the biggest trouble makers of society are here, it would have to be the two so-called minorities. It does not mean everyone but it does mean that these two groups are responsible for a larger portion of crime than others. For example, one group in particular has a murder rate (per capita) that is 592% higher than the largest demographic. It's the same deal with illegal aliens.

There is a lot the country can do to stem the flow and reverse that specific type of immigration.
