How long til I get the second NOA

Our case is currently being worked on at the CSC. I checked yesterday and it had been updated and today it was updated again. My question is how long does a file take once they start working on it at this stage?

"Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between February 22, 2010 and March 11, 2010*."

Signing up for email/phone notifications when your i-130 is approved doesn't mean you'll get them or that they'll update the USCIS website. I signed up for both and checked the website religiously and the first we heard about our approval was when my USC husband checked his mail box almost 2 weeks after they'd posted it to him. So having been touched twice in 2 days usually means approval and you should get your letter very soon.

Yes!! I just checked the website and it says that we have been approved!! They sent out the NOA2 yesterday!!

Today i checked the page of USCIS with my receipt number, also the update in my account .But there is no update since 12.10.2009 to untill now is that normal? bec i m still waiting for my I-130 approve

Unfortunately it's within the norms. The gov't site shows 5 months to process the petition. Now, clearly they are moving much quicker than that but it's pretty much a hurry up and wait game. Some have posted that they didn't get any touches/updates whatsoever but then got approval. Others have a history of frequent touches etc. While I'm happy for those with approvals, it's a little discouraging seeing people with NOA1s later than ours, get NOA2 sooner but it's not first come, first served and there are many variables involved; thus we wait. Everyone is going through the same thing.

I'm secretly hoping that today is the day !!!

Ps, I 'm still seeing people's postings (timelines) showing Mar 17 and now someone apparently is getting their NOA2 in May !! I've reported one of this as it's clearly an error or a joke. How can you have NOA2 in May ?? or March 17?? I tried predicting the future and I find I'm about 50% right hahaha. Not sure why those timelines are like that but it's annoying as hell to me (personal peeve I guess).

So here's to NOA2 today and this week !!!!

When I called USCIS, they said that it might take upto 5 months for USCIS to approve I-130 petition.

Initially I thought the entire Visa process would be finished in 5-6 months, but now I learnt that I-130 approval itself *might* take upto 5 months.

I have seen some posts, where members have got NOA2 just after 53 days of getting NOA1 and other posts where members have received it after 119 days or something.

Every day is waiting day for us, until we get our NOA2.

Its really very frustrating and very hard to keep waiting.

I'm secretly hoping that today is the day !!!

Man, even I am on same boat as you are. No touches, no RFE, no updates and no NOA2.

So here's to NOA2 today and this week !!!!

I am with you on that.

Let this be our week and may we both get approved on I-130s.

Well...

There is nothing else we can do.We just have to wait and wait but it's annoying as hell to me too.Keep looking at the timelines of people in here they got approval before us or within a month and we still waiting what for.......
