i wanna travel with my minor child to see my family at the philippines , i have SPO of custody, the dad refused to sign consent letter to travel for my minor child . please give adviced what i need to do . do i need to hired a lawyer in this matter.

06/22/08 AOS delivered to Chicago IL

06/28/08 check cashed

06/30/08 received NOA1 dated 06/25/08

07/26/08 biometrics appointment

09/09/08 received EAD card in the mail

12/03/08 received interview letter for Jan 21 2009

01/21/09 approved for conditional permanent residence

02/02/09 permanent residence card arrived in the mail

10/21/10 submit form to remove conditions

01/21/11 10 year gc received

03/05/12 mailed my N-400

03/06/12 received email that they have my N-400

What is SPO? If the Dad refused to sign consent letter, there is nothing you can do. US laws is strict about parental abduction.

You said in your post below that you have a travel consent signed by your lawyer and your ex’s lawyer, what was that all about? Does that letter have your ex’s signature?

i have travel consent signed by the my lawyer and my ex lawyer, and his then notarized.
do i need to hired a lawyer in this matter.

You already have a lawyer as stated above. It is best to consult with your lawyer regarding your case.

I DID... I HAVE PLAN TO DO IT AGAIN.. AND I BELIEVED EVERY PROBLEM THEIRS SOLUTION..I AM SURE THEIRS AN OPTION FOR THAT..
