Just the stock market, eh? How about GDP growth? It was a negative 6.7% when he took office (Q1, 2009) and ended in the last quarter of 2009 at a positive 5.7%. But sure, bringing the rapid decline of the economy to a halt and reversing it into solid and hopefully sustained growth - the jury is still out on the latter - really doesn't mean anything.

I can't say it doesn't work as people vent against a guy most of whom they rarely listen to his radio program because they're told his a bad guy yet have to say about the president or his ruling party. Limbaugh's name is invoked like Emmanuel Goldstein in the book, 1984,

So, the US is inferior to Costa Rica seeing that Costa Rica's government meddles with the system and you (and Rush) already know that what that government has created meddling in the system is better than what the US can create. Nah, the guy we liberals really love to hate, our one and only true Emmanuel Goldstein, is not Rush Limbaugh but rather is ####### Cheney. Limbaugh is a funny clownish fellow, Cheney is truly the Lord of Evil.
