faal4anisa: The main thing that they ask you for police certificate for all the places the beneficiary has lived in since the age of 16. I don't quite remember all the other little forms they asked from my then fiance but this was the big one. And also, the I134 with the previous year's tax returns and W-2's. You should get that ready ASAP.

if my brothers friend is filling out the I134 because he doesn't make enough what would the friend put on the part where it says "relationship to sponsor". I am confused if the friend is the sponsor or ould my bro be the sponsor?

Your brother's friend is the sponsor since your brother does not have enough income.

So my brother would put "best friend" in the part where it says relationship to sponsor and the best friend would put "husband's best friend"?

hello all. i hope everyone is good. anyone get their visas in the past month or so?

as for my husband, he's still under ap/ar.

however, he received a letter from the islamabad embassy stating that they will schedule hime for his immigrant visa interview within the next 3 months. he already had his interview for the non-immigrant visa back in april. since that interview he's been on ar/ap.

is this the normal procudre to go thru 2 interviews?

has anyone else on the forum received one of these letters from islamabad embassy as well?

thanks for any responses as we're getting frustrated with this whole process.

molly

Molly I will say that he will have to interview since it is for a totally different interview. And this sounds like what happened with Shonnie's case. Once they start security checks on the K3 they cannot be stopped until they clear all agencies. Then they will process the CR1. In our case my files got to the embassy within one week of the other and they cancelled my K3 and never let it proceed.

God Bless you and wishing you all the best.

Mary

thanks mary.

in our case, the I-129f was sent to islamabad in 02/06. interview for k3 was 04/06. I-130 was sent to islamabad later that month, after the k3 interview.

since he will have to go for another interview, will the ar/ap process start all over again? or are they going to wait for all security checks to clear, schedule the interview, and then hopefully issue the visa right after that?

also, why did the embassy give him a 3 month window to expect the interview?

thanks again
