Shonnie sorry to hear that they are giving you the run around yet.

I want to ask all of you to remember my son on Thursday. He is undergoing another major surgery and would appreciate any thoughts and prayers sent our way on this date.

It seems like my bros K-3 petition just left NVC and now they have sent what seems like Packet 3 to the address in Pakistan that we gave. His wife is living in Afghanistan but the mailing system is horrible so we had them send the stuff to her Aunt's address. She told us that it states that she should bring the stuff on the checklist on December 8th. I myself did the K-1 and this doesn't make sense to me. Are they going to interview her that day when she brings everything? Or does she just go to turn everything in?

My hubby did the K-3, he showed up on his interview date with everything and was interviewed (about 4 hours later :P ).

Congrats to your brother and sister in-law.. sounds like she'll be here soon.

Danika.. I think this is kind of your answer.. K-1's send stuff ahead of time.

laneysara: Thanks for the answer! Now we've gotta rush and make sure she has everything in order! I am so excited that she will be here soon InshAllah. Everytime I talk to her she is so excited about my pregnancy and to think she might be here before I am due is making me thrilled!

Danika: I didn't know you had a question about K-1 but I am the girl to come to for that! Yes, you get a packet three and have to send things beforehand and once they are good and ready they give you an interview date.

We are home today from the hosptial and things went well. He was in surgery all day and they were able to do the implant this time. Will chat on phone with you later and hope your back home now.

Everyone else thanks for the prayers and they are much appreciated.

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)
