I am lucky girl my lovely husband :blush: is taking me out for a nice lunch tomorrow and to keep the kids happy and give me the day off from kitchen duties we are going some place with the kids for dinner McDonald's or Burger King is a good bet. All I have to do is bake something sweet and get a couple of two litre drinks for our event in the morning.

lol, ah no biryani, i am going to treat my family to halwa poori. lol

what a sexist comment! lol Just kidding...ummm we make fried dough covered with sugar. We call it elephant ears in Afghanistan. Eid is known for lots of sweets!

actually i love it when men help out in the house(cooking etc) and are nice to their wives. i really dislike men who are mean to their wives. how can you be mean to her and sleep with her at night. that makes me sick.

I was just teasing you. Yeah despite what others might think there are a lot of Muslim men with your viewpoint. Hubby helps me out ALOT and loves to be in the kitchen with me. My dad cooks, cleans, decorates the house and loves it! I remember growing up and seeing other Muslim men who were not like my dad and being disgusted.

Yes Mary elephant ears! The reason we call them that is because we shape them to look like elephant ears and then fry them. They are so bad for the health but soooo good for the soul...lol...
