Congrats on approvals and green cards and EADS, SSNs, all that good cheery stuff.

I am sorry i have not been posting much on VJ no more. life sometimes tosses curve balls - gotta catch them or miss them. I am so tired of this process and reading this stuff its slowly killing my sprits. I cant keep being like this. its pure hell. people just starting out get reunited faster than us. so you may have noticed my postings are few and far between. keep us in our prayers and I pray for some strengh - I am having a hard time coping. :(

I'm there with you Shon... It has been very difficult for me too. I don't know how long more of this waiting I can take :(:crying:

I'll pray for both os us...(F)

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)

aaaacckk! I can barely breathe right now. My family is getting worked...

My uncle had a stroke 10 days ago. I hurried home to help with him and he was doing better. The last few days have been really hard though. He's been struggling and loosing his will to live. And on Wed. my grandmother (his sister) had a stroke. They are in the hospital - two doors down from each other. It has been so hard!!!! I'm trying to make sure my grandfather stays heathly and we stay on top of both of their medical situations. My sister was here helping as much as she could with her crazy work schedule, but Thursday her 4mo old horse fell sick and died. She's devastated by the loss. UGH - enough already!!

Anyway, I don't usually complain, but I had a few minutes to check e-mail before getting some much needed sleep and wanted to let those of you who have sent PM's, etc... where/what I'm up to.

It's killing Ali not to be able to help me more. I've acutally had to ask him not to call so much. With trying to keep all the family and friends up to date and included I'm too tired to talk much with him. I wish he were here to hold me so I could really cry. I could so use it right now.... sigh. Those of you who have PM'ed with him, will you send him some support. I can't.

We'll make it through though - one thing about my family is they are a TOUGH lot. I wish they could all cry a bit more though!!

Hope everyone else is doing alright out there. At least I'm blessed by being able to be here with my family right now and able to let my work slide for a bit. sigh... off to bed for a bit and back sometime here next week I hope.

Danika got an email from Ali and sorry to hear of all the family illness now. Take care of yourself and will continue to remember all of you in my prayers.

GlobalGiving hasn't reached out to the American Muslim community, so they thought to help in charitable giving. You can support projects anywhere and there are even two projects that help feed the needy in Sudan and Palestine. Temporary EAD given for 1 month ONLY b/c of Infopass appt: 5/1/2006

Went back to renew EAD through Infopass: EAD card was not given "due to reasons we can't disclose"

5/3/2007: Confirmation that EAD is delayed due to background checks. (started to use the senator, ombudsman and was just a royal pain in the neck)

5/30/2007: EAD production ordered (after over 400 days of waiting!!! woo hoo!)

AOS Interview: 5/12/2008!!! FINALLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7/29/2008: card production ordered...918 days..can't wait to see that card!
